Refund policy

While Dodgeball Winnipeg is large for a Dodgeball League, it is still a small business that books limited, time-sensitive gym space. Without proper notice to be able to sell the space we have rented, it can severely impact our business. For this reason, we instituted the following refund policy.

Covid-19:

Should a season be terminated before it has started, all teams and players will receive, at the very least, a full refund in the from of a credit towards future purchases from Dodgeball Winnipeg. If the league has the resources, a refund in the form of the original payment will be issued if requested.

If the season has already begun, we will do our best to postpone the season and complete it at a later date. If the season is required to be cancelled entirely, we will provide some form of credit either proportional to the remaining games left, or credits towards free drop-ins for the number of games missed. A “cash” refund may not be possible in this scenario due to the financial nature of booking venues and purchasing equipment the funds simply may not be there to provide cash refunds.

Equipment:

There will be no refund/warranty offered on balls.

Kneepads can be returned within 30 days for a full refund if the package is still sealed and they are not worn. Kneepads that have been used may not be returned.

All apparel is final sale and no refunds will be issued. If the item does not fit, the purchaser may exchange for the proper size so long as the clothing has not been worn/used.

Tournaments:

No refunds will be issued for tournament registrations. You may transfer your reserved space to someone else, but no refund or credit will be issued.

Drop-ins:

No refunds will be issued for drop-in registrations. You may transfer your reserved space to someone else, but no refund or credit will be issued, and you will not be permitted to use the registration for a different date.

Team fees

If a refund is requested 30 or more days before the first game of the season, a refund of 90% will be issued in the form the payment was received or a 100% store credit will be issued. If a refund is requested 15-29 days before the first game of the season, a 50% refund will be issued in the form the payment was received or a 90% store credit will be issued. If there are 14 days or less before the first game of the season, no refund or credit of any kind will be issued.

Draft, Time Slots, and Individual player registrations:

If a refund is requested 30 or more days before the first game of the season, a refund of 90% will be issued in the form the payment was received. If a refund is requested 15-29 days before the first game of the season, a 50% refund will be issued in the form the payment was received. If there are 14 days or less before the first game of the season, no refund or credit of any kind will be issued.

 

For the purposes of these definitions, a β€œday” will be considered 1 calendar day. For example, if game 1 is July 15th, July 8th will be considered 7 days before. July 1st will be 14 days, etc.
