We will be completing an audit of waivers very shortly, and team captains will receive a list of players who will not be permitted to play due to not having filled out a waiver.
Emails will come out starting next week, so please double check that everyone on your team has done a waiver this season. The waiver is available on the forms section of our website:
Hello Dodgeballers!
With the upcoming fundraising events our provincial sports organizing body Dodgeball Manitoba is running, (ex: Denham and Bride July 25th) we want to remind people that this is an entirely separate organization from Dodgeball Winnipeg (we are a for-profit league, they are a non-profit sports organizing body). Please do not send us payments for Dodgeball Manitoba events. Thank you!
Come do karaoke and hang out with your fellow dodgeballers tonight (Friday July 13th) at Movado Polo Park. Arrive any time after 9pm, there’s no cover charge so bring all your friends!
For this summer and this summer only, we will be offering heavily discounted drop-ins Monday nights. Only $5 for up to 2 hours of play! Come on down to East Elmwood CC 490 keenleyside for 7:00pm and come join the fun! No experience necessary, only need clean non-marking indoor-only shoes, and must be 18+ years of age.

As of the time this post is being published, the Sunday schedules up to August 19th are complete. The remaining ones will be completed by the end of the day today. Once the schedules are complete, captains will be emailed with the Sunday contact list.

Effective July 12th, Dodgeball Winnipeg is implementing the following refund policy. It will also be available in our main menu.
While Dodgeball Winnipeg is large for a Dodgeball League, it is still a small business that books limited, time-sensitive gym space. Without proper notice to be able to sell the space we have rented, it can severely impact our business. For this reason, we are instituting the following refund policy.
Tournaments:
No refunds will be issued for tournament registrations. You may transfer your reserved space to someone else, but no refund or credit will be issued.
Drop-ins:
No refunds will be issued for drop-in registrations. You may transfer your reserved space to someone else, but no refund or credit will be issued, and you will not be permitted to use the registration for a different date.
Team fees:
No refunds will be issued for team league registrations. You may transfer your reserved space to someone else, but no refund or credit will be issued, and you will not be permitted to use the registration for a different season.
Draft, Women’s, and other individual team league registrations:
If a refund is requested 30 or more days before the first game of the season, a refund of 90% will be issued in the form the payment was received. If a refund is requested 8-29 days before the first game of the season, a 50% refund will be issued in the form the payment was received. If there are 6 days or less before the first game of the season, no refund or credit of any kind will be issued. Regardless of whether the reason is due to injury, leaving the city, etc.
For the purposes of these definitions, a “day” will be considered 1 calendar day. For example, if game 1 is July 15th, July 8th will be considered 7 days before. July 1st will be 14 days, etc.
The Spring Season Karaoke Windup at Movado Polo is happening this Friday at 9pm! Come on down, whether your team won or not, and enjoy some karaoke, fun, and drinks at Movado Polo Park. This is a great way to get to know your fellow dodgeballers and always a fun time.
For teams that won their division, you must attend this event to collect your medals and free pitcher of beer.
We are working on finishing up the Thursday schedules, and they should be done when this post is a couple hours old.
Draft schedules are complete, and Sunday schedules will be released hopefully today, but no later than tomorrow.
