We are looking for one more team in each of the following divisions:
Wednesday night Bronze
Monday night Bronze
Sunday night Bronze
Tuesday night Silver
Please contact us directly (info@dodgeballwinnipeg.com) if you can make one or more of these teams – we will comp the captain their portion of the team registration fee.
The deadline for rosters to be submitted is tonight March 28th at 11:59pm. Any team that has not submitted a roster by this time will lose their 1 free roster change for the season.
Any team that has not submitted by April 1st will forfeit their first game, and forfeit an additional game for each 2 days after they have not submitted a roster.
You can find the roster form in your email, and on the forms section of our website.
Registration was set to close last night, but since we have room for at least 1 more team on every night, we are going to be leaving the forms up and allow teams to register right up until we release schedules.
For example: We will allow teams to sign up for Tuesdays until the Tuesday schedule is released, at which point it will be removed from the registration form. Same for every other night.
A team has moved nights, which gives us space for one more team now on Tuesdays, (any level). Tuesday nights have now been added back to the registration form for the time being.
Registration closes Midnight tomorrow (Tuesday March 27th).
We have room for teams still on Sunday, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tuesdays are full, and the rest of the days have room for 3-4 more teams each. Let’s fill up the space and have a great Spring season!
Come play dodgeball in the sand with a drink in your hand! The tournament this Sunday is at the Beach Volleyball Centre that was just recently constructed. This is a fully licensed venue and we expect this tournament to be a TON of fun! All profit will be donated to help pay for the national tournament coming here in April.
The emphasis for this event is on having a good time, not on competition.
11am start time, participation in the 1v1 portion is mandatory to participate in the tournament.
Tournament format is as follows:
10:30-10:50: Registration
11:00 1v1 to sudden death to determine captains
After 1v1 is complete, captains choose teams then we start the round robin, then a short break while we make the playoff bracket.
We will be running this in exactly the same format as the sudden death tournaments we have run prior. We love the format and find it creates a level playing field and encourages people to meet one another and play close games.

Congratulations to all our division champions! You can pick up your medals at our windup this Friday at Movado Polo. Your team will also receive a free pitcher of beer (only redeemable at the windup this Friday)
We have finished the season and have a lot of balls that have been retired from play. These are sold to the public for $5 each, but we would like to blow them out in bulk, hopefully to a good organization.
While supplies last, we will sell retired balls for $100 per crate of 24, and will deliver within Winnipeg free of charge.
These are 7″ foam balls with a rubber coating, as per WDBF standards. Weight ~140g +/- 5g.
Draft league registration has been capped at 96 players. At the time this was posted, we had 86 players meaning there are only 10 spaces available.

March 15th, 20th, and 29th we are hosting drop-in dodgeball nights at East Elmwood CC from 7:00-9:00pm. $10 to play (first one is free if you’ve never played in our league before).
March 23rd we have our windup at Movado Polo. Come eat, drink, and do karaoke with your fellow dodgeballers. Winning teams also are to pick up their medals here.
March 25th we are hosting a beach dodgeball tournament, with 100% of the profit to be donated to Dodgeball Manitoba to help fund nationals. Please sign up in advance!
