Dear Dodgeball Community,

It is with a mixture of deep gratitude and a heavy heart that I write to inform you of my decision to resign from my position as Director of Dodgeball Winnipeg, effective July 1, 2024.

Over the past 4 years, I have had the immense privilege of leading the league and being a part of this extraordinary community. The dedication, passion, and camaraderie that each member brings have been a constant source of inspiration for me. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones in the sport, faced challenges head-on, and created a vibrant and supportive environment that I am sincerely proud of.

My decision to step down was not an easy one. It comes after much reflection and consideration of my personal and professional aspirations. I believe this change will provide me with the opportunity to explore new avenues and dedicate time to personal growth and more importantly, to my family. Even more crucial, it will allow fresh leadership to bring new perspectives and ideas to our beloved community. Nick’s motivation for growth and prosperity of the sport as a whole is unparalleled. With his leadership and ability to organize, I am so confident that there is nothing but good things in store for the future of Dodgeball.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to each and every one of you. Your support, trust, and collaboration have made my tenure as director a profoundly rewarding experience. I am confident that this community will continue to thrive and reach new heights under the guidance of the capable leadership that will follow.

Please know that my commitment to this community does not end with my resignation. I will always be an advocate and supporter of the incredible work being done here. I look forward to witnessing and celebrating the continued success and growth of this community from a different vantage point.

Thank you once again for the honor and support of serving as director of the league. I am eternally grateful for the memories, the friendships, and the collective accomplishments we have shared both personally and for the sport itself.
